Book Trailer Thursday: The Speech

Wednesday, August 28th will mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, and the annual March on Washington takes places this weekend. Vanessa Bush reviewed Chicago publisher Haymarket’s timely The Speech in our August issue. She writes, “[Author Gary Younge] details the long, sleepless night of preparation, the dramatic moment when King turned over his prepared speech and delivered remarks from his heart, using the phrase many had advised against, warning that it was trite and overused.” Learn more in the three-part trailer below:
