Hely Wins 2010 Thurber Prize for American Humor

how-i-became-a-famous-novelistDuring a ceremony emceed by Keith Olbermann, Steve Hely accepted a $5,000 prize for his 2009 novel How I Became a Famous Novelist. Thurber House calls it “a hilarious send-up of literary pretensions and celebrity culture, with dead-on parodies of genres, bestseller lists, and even the writing process itself.”
