BBC Audiobooks now AudioGO

New name. new logo, same great titles. There’s a new look, but the company formerly known as BBC Audiobooks America remains the same. On July 14th, I sent out this Guardian article by Mark Sweney that announced BBC Worldwide’s sale of 85% of its audiobook division to AudioGO from my Audiobooker Twitter feed. Today Michele Cobb, marketing director, let me know that the company is now transitioning to the new title. Michele says, “Although artwork and previously printed materials will continue to say BBC Audiobooks America, and email addresses remain the same for the time being, we are ready to make the leap to being referred to as AudioGO.” So look for the new logo above and take note of the new web address www.audioGO.com for both consumer & library customers.

And check out these awesome audio interviews “In Their Own Words: British Novelists” with notables such as Virginia Woolf, Zadie Smith, JRR Tolkien, William Golding, AS Byatt, Kazuo Ishiguro, Aldous Huxley and more. AudioGO let me know about the site via Twitter, where their name is AudioGO, but their Twitter handle is still @BBCAA !
